Workshop
Singing, I just can’t get enough of it – and I so much like to sing with other people. The combination clowning and singing I see as a super match.
I love the expression “sing as if nobody is listening” & “if we can talk, we can sing”
For this workshop there is no need to be a “singer”. Inspiration for this workshop, I got from listening to the blackbird. Their whistling is so amazing. So free, and creative- and their breaks are stunning. I realized it fits very well for singing together online. There is the need to listen to what we sing and listen to what the one we’re singing with.
- There will be action – reaction singing.
- There will be listening.
- Songs from the hearts.
A two hours long food for your soul. So much looking forward to sing with you!
Warm greetings Patrick
Bio Patrick van den Boom
Clowning is in my bloodstream. It was a wish to be a clown since I was two years old. Sometimes it is clear from the start! I am very happy that I managed to make my profession out of my passion. It means a lot to me and I see it as a luxurious position. After a period of theatre and dance I decided at the end of the nineties to go to a Dutch Clown School. This was the start of a lot of clowning! I started clowning in hospitals, elderly homes and also became a teacher/trainer.
In 2009, I moved from the Netherlands to Norway. There I started working at Sykehusklovnene (hospital clowns) in Oslo. And I have started up the group for clowning in elderly houses in Norway; Klokkeklovnene. Here we clown for people in dementia care. About 20 years ago I founded Clownschool International! Now I give training and workshops all around Europe.
To be honest, I feel like a lucky bastard that I have the chance to inspire others. It makes me very happy.
